"Operate out of love, not fear. Tell, don't hide. Be open and honest with the most awkward and uncomfortable topics within the relationships you value the most. People can only work with what is known." ~Doe Zantamata thehiyl.com
The 36th annual report from the American Assoc. of Poison Control Centers shows zero deaths from any vitamin. The AAPCC report also shows no deaths from any dietary mineral supplement, no fatalities from amino acids, creatine, blue-green algae, glucosamine, or chondroitin. There were no deaths from herbs like blue cohosh, echinacea, ginkgo biloba, ginseng, St. John’s wort, valerian, yohimbe, ma huang/ephedra, guarana, kola nut, or yerba mate. And, there were no deaths from energy drinks. There were no deaths from any homeopathic remedy, Asian medicine, Hispanic medicine, or Ayurvedic medicine. None.
Something did cause six deaths, however, but investigators simply have no idea what it was so they blame a supplement or natural remedy. It’s a bit like a homicide detective telling a judge that murders were committed by either a man, or a woman, or an animal, using perhaps a knife, gun or claws. Throughout the entire year, coast to coast across the entire USA, there was not one single death from a vitamin, mineral or any other nutritional supplement. If supplements are allegedly so “dangerous,” as the FDA, the news media, and even some physicians still claim, then where are the bodies? healthimpactnews.com
BIG Exercise Mistake...Trying to do too much at once! Enthusiasm can push you into doing too many sets, lifting too much or running too long. At best, your body's extra soreness hampers future workouts, but injury is the true risk. A little soreness is OK, however. After all, the tiny tears in muscles that result from working out create muscle mass as they're repaired. mydailymoment.com
Chiropractic care was first linked to improved immunity during the deadly flu epidemic of 1917 and 1918. Chiropractic patients fared much better than the general population. This observation spurred a study of the field. The data showed flu victims under chiropractic care had an estimated .25% death rate, a lot less than the normal rate of 5% among flu victims who did not receive chiropractic care.
In the years since, studies are finding that chiropractic care is a way to improve immunity. One study, from the National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Illinois, found that disease-fighting white blood cell counts were higher just 15 minutes after a chiropractic adjustment. Who do you know that could benefit from chiropractic care? psychologytoday.com
