One way to find happiness... Stop comparing yourself to others: Comparing yourself with others won’t do you any good. You will either feel proud when you are above, or feel jealous and frustrated when you are below. None of them brings true happiness. So stop comparing yourself with others and simply be your best. lifeoptimizer.org

A new study in China has found that the novel coronavirus has mutated into at least 30 different variations. The results of this study showed that medical officials have vastly underestimated the overall ability of the virus to mutate. These findings showed that different strains have affected different parts of the world, leading to potential difficulties in finding an overall cure. The study was carried out by Prof. Li Lanjuan and colleagues from Zhejiang Univ. in Hangzhou, China. Li's team analyzed the strains from 11 randomly chosen coronavirus patients from Hangzhou, where there have been 1,264 reported cases, and then tested how efficiently they could infect and kill cells. More than 30 different mutations were detected, of which 19 were previously undiscovered. Coronavirus has so far been treated in hospitals worldwide as one disease and patients receive the same treatment regardless of the strain. It has been suggested by the team at Zhejiang Univ. that defining mutations in different regions may change the way we approach combating the virus. Now think about this… Do you really think there can be an effective vaccine for this if this virus keeps mutating? Best to keep your own immune system strong and healthy! jpost.com

Watch one less hour of TV: A study of 76 undergraduate students found the more they watched television, the more often they ate and the more they ate overall. Sacrifice one program (there’s probably one you don’t really want to watch anyway) and go for a walk instead. rd.com

The coronavirus and other pandemics are often compared to the St. Louis 1918 (Spanish) flu epidemic. This 1918 flu-infected and killed radically more people than any similar outbreak in history, killing many Americans and riddling the country with fear. It has been estimated that 20 million people died throughout the world, including about 500,000 in the U.S. In the midst of that flu epidemic, the health care community discovered that the death rate of chiropractic patients was radically lower than that of non-chiropractic patients! Researchers in Davenport, Iowa found that out of the 93,590 patients treated by medical doctors, there were 6,116 deaths (one patient in 15). Chiropractors at the Palmer School of Chiropractic adjusted 1,635 cases, with only one death. Outside Davenport, chiropractors in Iowa cared for 4,735 cases with only six deaths (one in 866). Chiropractors were also called in 233 cases given up as lost after medical treatment and reportedly saved all but 25. In another report covering 4,193 cases by 213 chiropractors, 4,104 showed complete recovery. These results are part of the proven, critical link between the body’s central nervous system and the immune system. circleofdocs.com

Cinnamon is a powerful spice that has been used medicinally around the world for thousands of years. As little as 1/2 of one teaspoon of cinnamon daily can have positive effects on blood sugar levels, digestion, immunity, and more. Stronger doses are also extremely beneficial for improving heart disease risk and cutting risk for diabetes, cancer, and neuro-degenerative diseases. draxe.com
