Don't Go to Sleep Angry. As you drift off to sleep, refuse to review anything that you don't want to be reinforced in your subconscious mind all through the night. Instead, use "I am" statements to help you remember that your rest will be dominated by your last waking concept of yourself. "I am peaceful, I am content, I am love, and I attract only to myself those who are in alignment with my highest ideals of myself." drwaynedyer.com

The COVID pandemic experience has brought on a surprising effect on the expected death rate among children. Starting in early March, during the lockdowns, roughly 30% fewer children died. There was very little effect of deaths among school age children or adolescents. Virtually the entire change came from infants. Somehow, the lockdowns have been saving the lives of hundreds of infants, over 200 per week. Anecdotal reports from emergency room (ER) doctors are suggesting that some have observed a decline in SIDS. One doctor who says he might see 3 cases of SIDS in a typical week has seen zero cases since the pandemic and associated lockdowns began. One very clear change is the sharp decline in infant vaccinations as parents were not taking their infants into pediatric offices for their regular "well-baby" checks. In the May 15 issue of the CDC Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR), it was reported that a sharp decline in provider orders for vaccines as well as a decline in pediatric vaccine doses were administered. These declines began in early march, around the time infant deaths began declining. So, this natural experiment actually calls into question the very actions of widespread, mandated vaccines for all. ageofautism.com

Diet Tip: If you've indulged in a decadent meal, follow up by eating fruit. Eating antioxidant-rich fruits-including berries, grapes, kiwi and cherries-helps minimize the harmful free-radical damage that occurs after a meal. eatingwell.com

Chiropractic has stood the test of time. Many forget that "modern" medicine is relatively new. Many of its most popular (and profitable) drugs and procedures are often the subject of recalls, unintended adverse reactions or rushed to market with success rates that barely exceed that of cheaper, side-effect-free placebos. This is in sharp contrast with the scrutiny, longevity and proven history of the discipline of chiropractic. For over a century, chiropractic care has been pressed into service to revive the self-healing capacity of those who have exhibited virtually every named and unnamed disease or health condition. And while chiropractic care is NOT a treatment of any ailment or illness, it has never been the subject of a recall or even warning label. While the limitation of matter or other constraint may prevent the wished-for outcome, reviving one's ability to self-heal will never go out of style. chiropracticfortheworld.org

Watermelon is not only great on a hot summer day… this delectable thirst-quencher may also help reduce the inflammation that contributes to conditions like asthma, atherosclerosis, diabetes, colon cancer, and arthritis. Watermelon is an excellent source of vitamin C and a very good source of vitamin A, notably through its concentration of beta-carotene. whfoods.com
