"If you knew your potential to feel good, you would ask no one to be different so that you can feel good. You would free yourself of all of that cumbersome impossibility of needing to control the world, or control your mate, or control your child. You are the only one who creates your reality. For no one else can think for you, no one else can do it. It is only you, every bit of it you." - Esther Hicks everydaypowerblog.com

Three new studies have reported the positive role of vitamin D in preventing COVID-19 and reducing the severity of illness in hospitalized patients with COVID-19 infection. Researchers at Boston Univ. conducted an analysis of over 190,000 U.S. patients from 50 states with SARS-CoV-2 results performed mid-March through mid-June, 2020 and who had vitamin D results from the preceding 12 months. Researcher Michael Holick, MD, PhD, summarized, "If you're vitamin D deficient, you have a 54% higher risk of acquiring this infection compared to people who were vitamin D sufficient," he said. "This was for all ages, ethnicities, and latitudes in the U.S. in all 50 states. So whether you're in California, Florida, or Alaska this still remained the same." Dr. Holick says that vitamin D insufficiency is very common in sunny states like California and Florida because of sunscreen use and the fact that people avoid the midday sun when UVB rays trigger a reaction in skin cells that makes vitamin D. He said that supplementation is a safe and effective way to maintain healthy levels of vitamin D, and that infants need 400-1000 units a day, children 600-1000 units a day, and teens and adults need 1500-2000 units a day, but "if you're obese you need two to three times more." thevaccinereaction.org

This is a chiropractic study recorded regarding a 35-yr old male with a history of repetitive sports injuries who sought chiropractic care for extreme neck pain and stiffness, pins and needles into his left shoulder, low back pain and difficulty sleeping. He also had a long history of chronic headaches and migraines. This man chose to seek a chiropractor that corrects subluxations (spinal misalignments) and received chiropractic care to correct these symptoms for eight weeks. He then continued with supportive care for an additional three months when a follow-up assessment was undertaken. Not only were his initial symptoms severely decreased, he also experienced improved physical, social and psychological functioning and decreased disability. There were improved changes in cervical curve and reduction of forward head posture. Who do you know that could benefit from chiropractic care? vertebralsubluxationresearch.com

Yams are an excellent source of vitamins C and B6, with 1 cup providing approximately 20% of your daily requirement of each of these nutrients. Vitamin C assists in tissue repair and wound healing, and its antioxidant properties help offset the cell-damaging effects of free radicals in your body. Manganese, copper and potassium are abundant in yams. Manganese is essential and may help detoxify your body. Copper helps your body produce proteins such as hemoglobin, elastin and collagen. And potassium is involved in energy production, muscle contraction and nerve impulses. livestrong.com
