Forgive yourself: Have you made mistakes in the past? We could be so intimidated by our past mistakes that we can no longer live to our full potential. But you aren't perfect, and neither is anyone else. So forgive yourself and release the burden. lifeoptimizer.org

Over 6,000 scientists signed their names to a petition calling for an end to coronavirus lockdowns, citing the "irreparable damage" they have caused. "As infectious disease epidemiologists and public health scientists we have grave concerns about the damaging physical and mental health impacts of the prevailing COVID-19 policies, and recommend an approach we call Focused Protection." The petition was signed by over 2,800 medical and public health scientists, over 3,700 medical practitioners, and over 60,000 private citizens, according to Newsweek. The document, known as the Great Barrington Declaration, was co-authored by Harvard professor of medicine Dr. Martin Kulldorff, Oxford professor Dr. Sunetra Gupta, and Stanford Medical School Professor Dr. Jay Bhattacharya. The doctors insist on an approach more focused on protecting vulnerable populations and achieving the goal of "herd immunity," which they refer to as "Focused Protection." The petition reads, "The most compassionate approach that balances the risks and benefits of reaching herd immunity is to allow those who are at minimal risk of death to live their lives normally to build up immunity to the virus through natural infection, while better protecting those who are at highest risk." washingtonexaminer.com

Diet Tip: Ditch the candy dish: Adjust your environment to make it more conducive to mindful eating. Take a tour of your house and look around to see what food is out and available. Are healthy snacks like fruit and nuts the easiest to grab? Or unhealthy snacks like candy and cookies? Put a bowl of fruit out instead. health.clevelandclinic.org

There is a growing body of evidence that wellness care provided by doctors of chiropractic may reduce health care costs, improve health behaviors, and enhance patient perceived quality of life. Until recently, however, little was known about how chiropractic adjustments affected the chemistry of biological processes on a cellular level. In a landmark study published in the Journal of Vertebral Subluxation Research (JVSR), chiropractors collaborating with researchers at the Univ. of Lund, Sweden found that chiropractic care could influence basic physiological processes affecting oxidative stress and DNA repair. These findings offer a scientific explanation for the positive health benefits reported by patients receiving chiropractic care. Who do you know who could benefit from chiropractic care? medicalnewstoday.com
