Worry is the result of thinking and imagining what might happen in the future. If you have planned and prepared, you can have reasonable expectations about the future. Good action today will produce good living tomorrow. Reasonably good expectations for tomorrow are based on positive thinking and prudent action today. So, instead of imagining all the bad things that might happen to you in the future based on your fear, start imagining things working out. Develop a "what if it goes right and works out" expectancy if you want to be the winner you were born to be. ziglar.com

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recently said it's alerting clinical laboratory staff and healthcare providers that false positive results can occur with COVID-19 antigen tests. The decision was made following reports of false positive results associated with the tests used in nursing homes. The FDA said false positive results may occur when users don't follow the instructions for the use of antigen tests for rapid detection of SARS-CoV-2. Antigen tests require an uncomfortable nasal or throat swab, and can produce results more quickly than molecular tests but are considered less accurate. Countries straining to contain a second wave of COVID-19 are turning to faster, cheaper but less accurate tests to avoid the delays and shortages that have plagued efforts to diagnose and trace those infected quickly. In September, the company that is supplying 750,000 of its SARS-CoV-2 antigen test to the U.S. government, said it is investigating reports from U.S. nursing homes that its rapid coronavirus testing equipment is producing false-positive results. So when you hear of increasing cases, they may very well be "fake news." medscape.com

Doing 10 push-ups every morning (or jumping-jacks, or crunches, etc.) is a small enough number to commit to each day but a regular enough activity to make a difference. Over time, you can add five more, ten more, and so on. onegreenplanet.org

For many seniors one of the most common problems related to aging is injuries that are associated with falling. Studies indicate that more than one third of seniors 65 and older fall each year, and that injuries related to falling can account for a large majority of the bone fractures in the elderly population. With regular chiropractic care, the risk of falls can be reduced. Such care can also provide increased balance, coordination, flexibility, mobility and strength; all of which can further reduce the possibility of bone fractures associated with falling as one grows older. Who do you know that could use chiropractic care? seniorcitizensguide.com

Walnuts are one of the best plant sources of protein. They are rich in fiber, B vitamins, magnesium, and antioxidants such as Vitamin E. Nuts in general are also high in plant sterols and fat - but mostly monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats (omega 3 fatty acids - the good fats) which have been shown to lower LDL cholesterol. Walnuts, in particular, have significantly higher amounts of omega 3 fatty acids as compared to other nuts. healthcastle.com
