Don't Go to Sleep Angry. As you drift off to sleep, refuse to review anything that you don't want to be reinforced in your subconscious mind all through the night. Instead, use I am statements to help you remember that your rest will be dominated by your last waking concept of yourself. "I am peaceful, I am content, I am love, and I attract only to myself those who are in alignment with my highest ideals of myself." drwaynedyer.com

The Environmental Working Group (EWG) released its 2021 Dirty Dozen list, a "Shopper's Guide to Pesticides in Produce," and it serves as a solid reminder that we still have a lot of work to do when it comes to cleaning up the food system. Even though citrus fruits didn't make the top 12 list, the EWG found that almost 90% of citrus samples analyzed in 2020 tested positive for imazalil, a fungicide that can interfere with hormone levels. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) dubbed this fungicide a "likely human carcinogen." EWG's Dirty Dozen: Strawberries; Spinach; Kale/Collard Greens/Mustard Greens; Nectarines; Apples; Grapes; Cherries; Peaches; Pears; Bell and Hot Peppers; Celery; Tomatoes. On average, spinach samples harbored 1.8 times as much pesticide residue by weight than any other crop tested. This list should in no way deter you from eating fruits and vegetables, but it should make you wary of modern chemical farming. If you really want these foods (which are usually so beneficial) make sure you consume them from organic sources. Next week we'll post the Clean 15! draxe.com

If you think that short bursts of activity have a negligible effect on your fitness program, think again. One study found that women who split their exercise into 10-minute increments were more likely to exercise consistently, and lost more weight after five months, than women who exercised for 20 to 40 minutes at a time. prevention.com

Kiwifruits are nutrient-dense and full of vitamin C. Just 1 cup of kiwifruit provides about 273% of your daily recommended value. Vitamin C is an essential nutrient when it comes to boosting your immune system to ward off disease. One study even found that kiwifruits may support immune function and reduce the likelihood of developing cold- or flu-like illnesses. This is especially true in at-risk groups like adults over the age of 65 and young children. healthline.com
