Reduce Stress by: learning how to relax your body. Check-in on your muscles regularly and if you're tensing up your jaw, your shoulders, or if you're frowning, breathe and relax. Get into the habit of doing quick body scans throughout the day. From your scalp to your toes, be aware of your body, your muscles, and your breathing. This also helps make mindfulness an ongoing aspect of your daily life. thriveglobal.com

Last week we wrote about the Environmental Working Group's (EWG) Dirty Dozen (The top 12 fruits and veggies that have the highest amounts of pesticides). This week, we focus on the "Clean 15" list, also from the EWG, which identifies the non-organic produce least likely to be contaminated with pesticide levels. Try choosing and growing organic, but if you're on a budget or your selection is limited, these lists help you focus your attention on avoiding the most contaminated fruits and veggies. Here is the 2020 Clean 15 List:  Avocados, Sweet Corn*, Pineapples, Onions, Papayas*, Sweet Peas (frozen), Eggplant, Asparagus, Broccoli, Cabbage, Kiwi, Cauliflower, Mushrooms, Honeydew Melon, and Cantaloupe. *Some sweet corn and papayas sold in the United States are GMOs, so choose organic to avoid GMO versions of these crops. draxe.com

Diet Tip: Put less food out and you'll take less in. You probably already know it… the more food in front of you, the more you'll eat… regardless of how hungry you are. So instead of using regular dinner plates that range these days from 10 to 14" (making them look empty if they're not heaped with food), serve your main course on salad plates (about 7 to 9" wide). Instead of 16-ounce glasses and oversized coffee mugs, return to the old days of 8-ounce glasses and 6-ounce coffee cups. rd.com

A case study was conducted with over 2000 mothers that completed intake questionnaires regarding the efficacy and cost effectiveness of chiropractic care for their young children. Statistically significant improvements were reported across all aspects of infant behavior studied, including feeding problems, sleep issues, excessive crying, problems with supine sleep position, infant pain, restricted cervical range of motion, and time performing prone positioning. Maternal ratings of depression, anxiety, and satisfaction with motherhood also demonstrated statistically significant improvement. In total, 82% reported definite improvement of their infants all around. As well, 95% reported feeling that the care was cost-effective, and 90.9% rated their satisfaction 8 or higher on an 11-point scale. In conclusion, this study showed that mothers reported chiropractic care for their infants was effective, safe, and cost-effective. Who do you know that could benefit from chiropractic care? chiro.org

Avocados are rich in healthy, satisfying fats and have been proven in one study to lower cholesterol by about 22%. One avocado has more than half the fiber and 40% of the folate you need daily, which may reduce your risk of heart disease. Healthy eating tip: Adding it to your salad can increase the absorption of key nutrients like beta-carotene by three to five times compared with salads without this healthy food. shape.com
