Gratitude is a powerful and transformative emotion that arises when we recognize and appreciate the good things in our lives. It is a deep sense of thankfulness, often accompanied by a feeling of humility and awe, that can profoundly impact our well-being and outlook on life. It allows us to shift our focus from what is lacking or negative to what is abundant and positive, leading to increased happiness, contentment, and resilience. Practicing gratitude involves actively seeking out and focusing on the good aspects of our lives, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant they may be.

Just one week of an organic diet effectively reduces levels of the herbicide glyphosate in pregnant women’s urine, according to a study published in July in Environmental Health Perspectives. The average reduction ranged from 25% to 30% and rose to 43% after the researchers excluded participants who did not perfectly comply with an all-organic diet. Glyphosate, the active ingredient in the weed killer, RoundUp, is the most widely used pesticide in U.S. agriculture. 80% of Americans have detectable levels of the chemical in their urine. Exposure to glyphosate may pose particular risks during pregnancy. Past research has linked the herbicide to premature birth and low birth weights, both of which are associated with higher infant mortality and developing a range of diseases later in life.

The body is all interconnected, so when your hip flexors are tight from sitting all day, for instance, this can create an anterior tilt in the pelvis and cause tightness in the hamstrings, according to the American Council on Exercise. (Make sure to regularly stretch your hips if you spend a lot of time sitting.)

Misalignment of the spine is called subluxation. Subluxation results in compression which agitates the nerve signals and affects the body’s organ systems. Although subluxation can cause pain, few spinal nerves actually transmit pain signals so subluxations often go un-noticed and therefore uncorrected. Three of the most dangerous forms of subluxation include losing the arc of life in the neck, forward head posture, and scoliosis. Receiving frequent chiropractic adjustments alleviates the built up pressure on the nervous system. As a result, the body is able to heal as it was intended. Living a healthy life is dependent upon reducing subluxation, improving posture, maximizing your nervous system, and preventing disease

Echinacea tea remains one of the healthiest and most versatile teas for treating and preventing a wide variety of ailments, including cold, flu, bladder infections, ear infection, respiratory conditions, arthritis, allergy symptoms, premature aging, and exhaustion. It also has anticancer potential. Along with those benefits, there are some side effects, but these are generally related to those who are specifically allergic to echinacea, or other related plants, such as ragweed and marigold.
