Law of Attraction Tip on Conquering Your Goals: When you picture yourself already at your final destination, in great detail, with the people, place, and things you want around you, you’ll start to attract the tools and other resources you need to make that actual goal (and visualization) a reality. And to really be effective, don’t just think about accomplishing your goal, really FEEL it. When you imagine it with emotion, is when the real magic starts to happen.

Cholesterol, long vilified as the cause of cardiovascular disease, is a vital component to nearly every cell in your body for the construction of cell membranes, regulation of cell signaling and neurological health. A review of three large industry-funded studies found it was impossible for cholesterol to be the main cause of heart disease as those with low levels had the same amount of arterial sclerosis as those with high levels. The same study found benefits claimed by statin supporters are ineffective and unsafe, as statements are invalid, compromised by misleading statistics and excludes information from unsuccessful trials. Heart disease is driven by a chronic inflammatory response in your body which you may impact through adequate intake of magnesium, reducing insulin secretion, balancing omega-3 and omega-6 fat ratio and maintaining iron levels in safe limits.

Tidbit #3: Diet Tip

Don’t buy any prepared food that lists sugar, fructose, or corn syrup among the first 4 ingredients on the label. If you can’t, grab a piece of fruit instead! Also, avoid partially hydrogenated foods, and look for more than 2 gr of fiber per 100 calories in all grain products. Finally, a short ingredient list means fewer flavor enhancers and empty calories.

This chiropractic study recorded is about a 35-yr old male with a history of repetitive sports injuries who sought chiropractic care for extreme neck pain and stiffness, pins and needles into his left shoulder, low back pain and difficulty sleeping. He also had a long history of chronic headaches and migraines. This man chose to seek a chiropractor that corrects subluxations (spinal misalignments) and received chiropractic care for eight weeks to correct his findings. He then continued with supportive care for an additional three months when a follow-up assessment was undertaken. Not only were his initial symptoms severely decreased, he also experienced improved physical, social and psychological functioning and decreased disability. There were also improved changes in cervical curve and reduction of forward head posture. Who do you know that could benefit from chiropractic care?

Nutritionally, the golden beet is quite similar to red beets. They have similar carbohydrate, fat and protein content and both are equally packed with potassium, a blood pressure-lowering mineral. The red beet contains betacyanins pigments; golden beets contain betaxanthins. Despite a difference in structure, both betalains function both as antioxidants and anti-inflammatory nutrients. While the benefits include lowering blood pressure and preventing dementia, another benefit of beets is its potential for better athletic performance.
