Your success has a ripple-effect: "When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better, too." Growth, change, and evolution are weaved into the fabric of reality. Becoming a better version of yourself creates a ripple effect that benefits everything around you: your lifestyle, your family, your friends, your community. Paulo Coelho paulocoelhoblog.com

The French health ministry is warning against using nonsteroidal anti-inflammatories (NSAIDs) such as ibuprofen to treat fever and pain associated with COVID-19 infection and to use acetaminophen (paracetamol) instead. There's also an entirely different reason for avoiding NSAIDs and other antipyretics when you have a fever. Fever is part of your body's immune response; it's how your body kills pathogens. Treating fever can prolong and actually make the illness worse. It's also been shown to increase mortality. Research has also shown ibuprofen does not improve survival in patients with sepsis. Heat-shock proteins induced by fever protect against oxidative injury caused by sepsis (infections), so by suppressing heat-shock proteins, fever-reducing drugs have the potential to worsen outcomes. A better alternative (provided your temperature does not get dangerously high) is to get plenty of bed rest, drink lots of fluids and simply "sweat it out." Chiropractic care's side effects are largely positive effects. Virtually every intervention can have an "unintended consequence" or "adverse reaction." Even chiropractic. Fortunately, these are overwhelmingly positive, even if unintended. For example, a person whose allergies improve after receiving chiropractic care for headaches. Or the person whose indigestion disappears after receiving chiropractic care for back pain. Or the expectant mother whose restored fertility seems to have coincided with her chiropractic care for low back pain. And the list goes on and on… The danger when seeing these frequent associations is to make the leap that chiropractic treats allergies, indigestion, and fertility. Of course, chiropractic doesn't treat anything. However, with a revived nervous system, just about anything is possible! chiropracticfortheworld.org

Elderberries that are cooked are used for its antioxidant activity to lower cholesterol, improve vision, boost the immune system, improve heart health. It's also used for coughs, colds, flu, bacterial and viral infections and tonsillitis. Elderberry juice was used to treat a flu epidemic in Panama in 1995. Bioflavonoids and other proteins in the juice destroy the ability of cold and flu viruses to infect a cell. People with the flu who took elderberry juice reported less severe symptoms and felt better much faster than those who did not. herbwisdom.com
