Like mom used to say, “If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all.” Consciously consider ALL of the words that come out of your mouth today. If you need to make a negative remark, criticize the action – not the person. People may do stupid things, but they are not stupid. Your words of affirmation not only bring somebody up when they’re feeling down, your words will be cherished for a lifetime.

Women who drink just one sugary soda per day are at a much higher risk of developing liver cancer, a study suggests. A team from Harvard Medical School in Boston observed a group of nearly 100,000 American women over the age of 50 who were followed for over 20 years. Women who drank one or more sugar-sweetened sodas per day were 85% more likely to be diagnosed with liver cancer in that time compared to those who consumed fewer than one a week. Daily soda drinkers were also 68% more likely to die from liver disease than those who drank three or fewer per month. The primary outcomes were liver cancer incidence, and mortality due to chronic liver disease, defined as death from nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, liver fibrosis, cirrhosis, alcoholic liver diseases, and chronic hepatitis.

Tidbit #4: Another Chiropractic Success Story

A 28-month-old boy was brought to a chiropractor by his mother for chiropractic care with a chief complaint of eczema. He also had ear infections and balance problems. The child had a persistent rash since the time of his first birthday. The mother tried numerous emollients and lotions without success to help with the intense pruritus he experienced. Subluxation-focused chiropractic adjustments were given at 27 visits over 3 months. At his 3-month re-assessment, his mother reported his eczema was gone. The patient remains under regular chiropractic care and experienced one other eczematous outbreak over the following 3 years. His ear infections resolved and his balance improved. This study reveals what many parents already know… Chiropractic adjustments remove nerve interference to allow the body to heal. Who do you know that could benefit from Chiropractic care?
