Most of the tasks that you procrastinate on aren't actually difficult to do, but you just avoid starting them for one reason or another.

The 2-Minute Rule overcomes procrastination and laziness by making it so easy to start taking action that you can't say no. Examples: washing your dishes immediately after your meal, tossing the laundry in the washing machine, taking out the garbage, cleaning up clutter, sending that email, etc. If a task takes less than two minutes to complete, then follow the rule and do it right now.

The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) is more akin to an industry front group than a public health agency that certifies dieticians and nutrition practitioners in the USA and abroad. The AND's stated mission is 'to accelerate improvements in global health and well-being through food and nutrition.' AND acts as a reference for dietetics curricula accreditation and as an authority in US food policy making. AND has close ties to the manufacturers of some of the unhealthiest foods you can eat, including Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, General Mills, and Kraft.

The AND Foundation (ANDF) received millions of dollars from companies in the food, pharmaceutical, and agribusiness industries and "had policies to provide favors and benefits in return." AND leaders have acted as employees of or consultants for multinational food, pharmaceutical, and agribusiness corporations. In its present state, AND is unable to offer sound dietary advice and is likely doing the opposite.

Desk work can take a toll on the body, leading to stiffness and tension in the body. Taking breaks to stretch and move your body can help combat these effects, improving joint fluid secretions and posture. Aim to add 5-minute stretch or movement breaks every hour while working at your desk.

Tidbit #4: Another Chiropractic Success Story

A 28-month-old boy was brought to a chiropractor by his mother for chiropractic care with a chief complaint of eczema. He also had ear infections and balance problems. The child had a persistent rash since his first birthday. The mother tried numerous emollients and lotions without success to help with the intense pruritus he experienced.

Subluxation-focused chiropractic adjustments were given at 27 visits over 3 months. At his 3-month re-assessment, his mother reported his eczema was gone. The patient remains under regular chiropractic care and experienced only one other eczema outbreak over the following 3 years. His ear infections resolved and his balance improved. This study reveals what many parents already know… Chiropractic adjustments remove nerve interference to allow the body to heal. Who do you know that could benefit from Chiropractic care?

Pineapples are a great way to cleanse and detoxify your system. This tropical delight contains bromelain, a digestive enzyme that helps cleanse your colon and improve digestion. Excessive inflammation, excessive coagulation of the blood, and certain types of tumor growth may all be reduced by the bromelain in pineapples. Two molecules isolated from an extract of crushed pineapple stems have even shown promise in fighting cancer growth.
